Policy Committee to Hold Hearing in Schuylkill County on Stopping New Energy Taxes

WHAT:     Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata), Rep. Jamie Barton (R-Berks/Schuylkill) and other lawmakers will host the second hearing in a series titled “Stopping New Energy Taxes” to analyze unfavorable energy policies (i.e., RGGI and PACER) and how they negatively impact consumers and businesses, and drive investments outside of Pennsylvania.

WHO:     Testifiers will include Robert Carl, president & CEO, Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce; Keith Masser, chairman & CEO, Sterman Masser; Clayton Bubeck, president & CEO of Rettew; and Pastor Doug Cresswell, Faith Church.

WHEN:     Friday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m.
