Policy Committee to Hold Hearing in Lycoming County on Stopping New Energy Taxes

WHAT: House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe (R-Snyder/Union/Mifflin/Juniata), Rep. Jamie Flick (R-Lycoming/Union) and other lawmakers will continue the committee’s series of hearings titled “Stopping New Energy Taxes” to analyze unfavorable energy policies and how they negatively impact consumers and businesses, and drive investments outside of Pennsylvania.

WHO: Testifiers will include Sen. Gene Yaw (R-23); Joe Delmar, director, governmental affairs, Cogentrix Energy, LLC; and Rod Williamson, executive director, Industrial Energy Consumers of Pennsylvania.

WHEN: Thursday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m.
